The Pine Barrens Festival is proud to have a family oriented event which has an excellent safety history. Our festival construction undergoes critical assessments by various government inspection agencies , including planning commission, electrical, fire and health departments.
The festival maintains a staff of security personnel which are responsible for enforcing organized parking, inspections and orderly use of the facilities. These individuals can be identified by colorful yellow shirts labeled "security". In many cases the individual has a "walkie-talkie" for a rapid communication in the case of an emergency.
The Pine Barrens Festival is protected on premises by members of the New Jersey State Police, Troop C which serve our area from the Red Lion Station located on Route 206 in Southampton, NJ.
All rides are subject to the Carnival and Amusement Ride Safety Act which establishes an annual ride safety inspection program. An annual permit assures that the ride is inspected annually and the owner has met all outstanding violations and has proper insurance for the duration of operation under the annual permit.
We also, have a first aid station for people who experience a minor injury or need assistance while the Tabernacle Rescue Squad is on route. During the Fireworks, the Medford Farms Fire Company is present.
