A.C.T.S. Women's group
Join Holy Eucharist's new multi-generational women's group - A(ctively) C(aring) T(hrough) S(haring). Our vision is to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of all women of the parish. This ministry encourages women of all ages to explore and grow in their faith and spirituality, to develop and strengthen friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve our community. Altar Servers
Altar Servers are young men and women who assist the priest and deacon at Mass on weekends and holy days, as well as other special liturgies throughout the year. Go to their website for more information and a sign-up form.
Art & Environment
The construction, renovation, preservation, and renewal of our church requires close collaboration between pastors, parishioners, and artists. The Art and Environment Team coordinates preparation of decorations for the church appropriate to major feast days and the different liturgical seasons. In close cooperation with the Trenton of Diocese, the Environment and Art Committee decides on appropriate decorations for Holy Eucharist Church in the Roman Catholic Tradition.
Bereavement Support Group
Grief is not a choice. Grief is not a disease. Grief is the normal response to the loss of a loved one. It can be very painful and confusing. If you have lost a loved one, you do not have to grieve alone. Come and journey with us. For more details, go to our website.
Boy Scouts
Although Holy Eucharist parish does not have its own Boy Scout troop, there are religious emblems Catholic Scouts can earn which serve to reinforce a Scout’s duty to God and country, key parts of the Scout Oath and Law. For more information, see the parish Boy Scout website.

Covenant Ministry
With deep respect for the uniqueness of each individual as a child of God, we invite all to share their gifts with our parish family and to answer the call to reach out to the community in love, compassion and service. In the belief that each person is called into a covenant relationship with his/her Creator, we commit ourselves to encourage and support all in our community of faith to choose to respond to this call.
Eucharistic Ministers

Evangelization (CAST)
CAST stands for Come And See Together (from John 1:35-39 scripture). The CAST logo encourages all of us to embrace our baptismal call to share the good news of God's love with others and "cast our nets into deep water" as Jesus asked in Luke's gospel (Luke 5:4) Each of the CAST messages reflects on the weekly readings. HOPE Senior outreach
The Holy Eucharist Program for the Elderly, called HOPE, is an outreach program for seniors. Transportation to weekend Mass, medical visits, grocery shopping, reassurance calls, companionship visits to the homebound and communion visits are some of the ways that HOPE volunteers serve others in the name of Jesus. Hospital Ministry
This ministry is comprised of a group of Eucharistic Ministers from the various Catholic Churches in the area surrounding Virtual Memorial Hospital, and its corresponding nursing home, that provide spiritual support for Catholics who are experiencing a hospital stay. Hospitality
The Hospitality Ministry serves light refreshments after all weekend Masses to provide parishioners with a time of extended fellowship following the celebration of the Mass. Hot coffee and tea and cold lemonade and iced tea are made and served by the ministers, using supplies provided by the parish. Interfaith Hospitality
The Interfaith Hospitality Ministry unites religious congregations to provide shelter, meals, and support to families without homes. To volunteer or for more information, call Janet Boris at 609-268-0828 and see the other ways you can help at the IFH website.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. For more information, see their website.
Lectors
The lector ministry is comprised of volunteers whose mission is to proclaim the Word of God at Mass and other liturgies. Lectors are scheduled to read on a rotating basis and meet annually (or as needed) for training and reflection. This ministry is open to anyone of high school age or older. Music Ministry
Under the direction of Linda Midura, the music ministry embraces both adult and young musicians who perform at mass and special occasions. For more information, go to the music ministry page.
New Lisbon Ministry
The New Lisbon Ministry is an outreach effort to bring the message of Jesus to the lives of those special children of God through caring, compassion, and friendship. Many of these adult residents have been at New Lisbon since their childhood, and many have no family. New Lisbon ministers extend God’s love to this community by bringing the Eucharist to those who are able to receive, praying with others, and sharing with them the precious gift of time. Ministers may also visit those residents who are in local hospitals as well as offer their assistance at funeral services, when requested. Ministers visit New Lisbon every Tuesday and an occasional Wednesday. The ministry is open to all who have a desire to extend God’s loving embrace to these special brothers and sisters. All that is required is a little time and a caring and compassionate heart.
Respect Life
The Respect Life Ministry at Holy Eucharist seeks to provide education as well as to provide opportunities to help develop a culture that is life affirming. Our web page will provide new and informative materials each month that will help educate us all on issues such as stem cell research, abortion, euthanasia, disabilities, brain death and more. Sacristans
The sacristans are Eucharistic Ministers who on weekends, Holy Days, and at daily mass are responsible for the set-up, removal, and cleaning of those articles used by the priest during the celebration of Mass and by the Eucharistic Ministers in the distribution of Communion. They are also responsible for the sign-up sheet used by the Eucharistic Ministers before Mass, making sure all positions are either filled or covered. Sacristans may also be asked to cover these duties for weddings and funerals. For more information, contact Janet Sawyer at 609-859-3209.
Seniors

St. Vincent dePaul Society

Youth Group (H.E.R.O.)
The parish youth group is for all high school students. Holy Eucharist Church strives to empower its young people for the mission they have been given by Jesus Christ, a mission that includes full involvement in the life, mission and work of the Catholic Church. Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. See our website for preparation and sponsor information.
Building Bridges
Building Bridges Ministry seeks to bridge the present with the future and to welcome all who seek a community of faith to grow in their relationship with God and one another. Building Bridges invites all the members of our Holy Eucharist family to create a special gift of welcome by signing Baptismal mats for all who come to the waters of Baptism. Signed with prayers, blessings and words of welcome, we present these mats to our new sisters and brothers in Christ at their Baptism. Celebrations are held annually in the parish for children, parents and families to remember the first, second, third and fourth anniversaries of baptism. Children's Liturgy of the Word
The mission of the Children’s Word Ministry of Holy Eucharist Parish is to bring a greater understanding of the Word of God to young children. During Mass, adult members proclaim the Word of God and deliver a reflection to Kindergarten through Fourth grade children in the Daily Chapel using storytelling, music, and visual aides, so they may understand God’s love. Faith Fest
Families with children in Grades 1 though 8 have two choices for Faith Formation at Holy Eucharist: Faith Fest (Intergenerational) and Children’s Faith Formation (Classroom). We invite all parishioners from the youngest to the eldest in all life situations as well as visitors from other parishes or other faith traditions and the wider community to join us at Faith Fest. Children's faith formation
Families with children in Grades 1 though 8 have two choices for Faith Formation at Holy Eucharist: Faith Fest (Intergenerational) and Children’s Faith Formation (Classroom - previously known as CCD). Children’s Faith Formation invites the child into a program of weekly classroom instruction in the Catholic Faith. This is done with parental support and encouragement. There are many opportunities to assist with this valuable ministry: instructors, aides, office assistants, substitutes, and much more. No special skills are needed, as the teacher texts include all information needed for a successful school year. GIFT Adult Faith Formation

Little Disciples
Little Disciples is a child care program for children from walking through age 4. It si offered at the 10:30 mass on Sundays. A gospel-related story and a lesson are presented, appropriate for the age of the children. Children's bible music adds a gentle, quiet atmosphere, and there is time for free play.
Marriage Encounter
Marriage Encounter is a weekend experience, designed to give married couples the opportunity to examine their lives together, time to share their feelings, hopes, frustrations, joys, and disappointments, and to do so, openly and honestly in a face to face, heart to heart encounter, with the one person they have chosen to live with for the rest of their life. Marriage Encounter is designed for any couple who desires a richer fuller life together. Marriage Encounter is Catholic in orientation but is open to all faith traditions. P.A.R.E.N.T.S.
Parents About Religious Education, Nurturing, Teaching, Socializing
PARENTS Ministry strives to provide a supportive and informative environment to encourage positive, loving, faith-filled interaction between parents and their young children. This is accomplished through a variety of means, including regular meetings, emailed newsletter, and updates on seasonal activities. PARENTS members are encouraged to help with the planning and implementation of Vacation Bible School and Little Disciples Child Care during Mass. Pre-Cana
Pre-Cana is an experience centered on the process of listening to the way a couple communicates, manifests their own feelings about marriage and, with the guidance of married couples and a priest or deacon, internalizes certain basic concepts of Christian marriage. RCIA
Adults who are not baptized or who are baptized in another Christian faith tradition and seek to embrace the Catholic faith, participate in an initiation process called RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). Adults are fully initiated into the Catholic Church during this process, celebrating Baptism, if needed, Confirmation and First Eucharist. Holy Eucharist offers a year round RCIA process, so a person may enter the first phase, at any time throughout the year. Inquirers bring their questions about Christianity and Catholicism to the meetings, which are led by members of the RCIA team. For more information see the RCIA website.
RCIA (for children)
Children over the age of 7 who are not baptized or who are baptized in another Christian faith tradition and seek to embrace the Catholic faith, participate in an initiation process called the Rite of Christian Initiation. Here at Holy Eucharist, we have adapted the adult version of this preparation process to accomodate the learning abilities of young children. Vacation Bible Schoool
Holy Eucharist parish presents Vacation Bible School each sumer. For one week, children of all ages attend a summer enrichment program. Baed on a Bible theme, children meet each morning ofr stories, songs, crafts, snacks, and games to learn more about the Catholic faith. Visions of Faith Interactive Museum
The Visions of Faith Interactive Museum focuses on core Catholic teaching tied to the Faith Fest theme of the year. "Opening Doors to the Word of God" will take place during Lent 2012 with exhibits in the atrium and other places around the church, as needed.

SCHEDULING MEETING ROOMS/SOCIAL HALL: To schedule meetings or activities to be held on the premises, contact the Parish Office. This includes activities and meetings in the original building, Hoffman Hall, and the Faith Formation Center. Meetings and events will be compiled for the monthly calendar distributed through the Bulletin and the website calendar. If you will be using the kitchen facility in Hoffman Hall, please advise at the time of scheduling.
